Job Summary

The SAP Quality Management Consultant plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and SAP technology solutions within the Pharma domain. This position involves analyzing quality and business processes, gathering requirements, and configuring SAP modules to optimize operations through SAP QM integration. The consultant will ensure the quality and reliability of SAP systems through rigorous testing and validation, identifying defects, documenting issues, and collaborating with development teams for resolution.

Responsibilities

• Configure, test, and implement SAP solutions, specifically focusing on Quality Management (QM).
• Facilitate SAP QM integration with external systems such as Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Execute troubleshooting and testing for SAP IDoc functionality.
• Utilize Fiori applications to enhance user experience.
• Understand and apply QM and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define comprehensive business requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed SAP functional and technical specifications.
• Conduct system testing and troubleshoot SAP-related issues efficiently.
• Provide end-user training and create comprehensive documentation and user manuals.
• Monitor SAP system performance, recommending improvements where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards throughout all processes.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and related scripts for SAP modules.
• Identify and document defects, errors, and inconsistencies for further review.
• Work alongside developers and analysts to resolve identified issues.
• Ensure that final SAP solutions meet business and user expectations through rigorous validation.
• Monitor and report on testing progress and outcomes.
• Research market standards and compare product performance for ongoing improvement.
• Recommend enhancements to increase system efficiency in line with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 5-8 years of experience in SAP Quality Management (QM) within the Pharma domain.
  • Proficiency in SAP modules and their configuration.
• Certifications: SAP QM certification is a plus.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • In-depth understanding of SAP modules and business processes.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Fiori applications.
• Knowledge of Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) processes.
• Experience in troubleshooting SAP IDoc.

Experience

• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience as an SAP QM Consultant within the Pharma domain.

Environment

• Work Location: All PSL locations, with remote work flexibility.
• Shift Timing: 11:30 am to 8:30 pm IST.
