Job Summary

The Senior DevOps Engineer will own and scale the cloud infrastructure, reliability, and compliance of a rapidly growing fintech platform. This role is pivotal in ensuring the platform's infrastructure meets the highest standards of reliability and compliance while allowing for significant operational impact.

Responsibilities

• Manage AWS infrastructure components, including Elastic Container Service (ECS) Fargate, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Application Load Balancers (ALB).
• Own and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions.
• Ensure high availability and execute zero-downtime deployments.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to track system performance and reliability.
• Drive initiatives for infrastructure cost optimization.
• Lead efforts for ISO 27001 certification readiness and integrate Data Protection and Data Privacy (DPDP) compliance practices.
• Collaborate with auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
• Ensure robust data protection mechanisms, including Identity Access Management (IAM), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and maintain audit trails.
• Align infrastructure practices with Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) IT compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in AWS services, especially those relevant to fintech applications.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Docker containers.
• Knowledge of managing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of networking concepts including VPC, subnets, and security groups.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, particularly Amazon CloudWatch.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on collaboration across stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in leading compliance projects.
• Familiarity with fintech regulatory systems.
• Experience in infrastructure cost management.

Experience

• 5 – 7 years of relevant experience in DevOps or related engineering roles with focus on cloud infrastructure.
