Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Primavera P6 Consultant with 8 to 14 years of hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, and control using Primavera P6. The ideal candidate should possess deep domain expertise in project and portfolio management across industries such as Engineering, Construction, Oil & Gas, or Manufacturing. The consultant will play a crucial role in optimizing project execution and ensuring effective resource management.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure Oracle Primavera P6 to meet business and project requirements.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, baseline plans, and resource loading.
• Support project controls and reporting functions, including earned value management (EVM).
• Conduct requirement analysis, gap analysis, and provide functional/technical solutions.
• Provide user training, documentation, and support for Primavera P6 tools and processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize scheduling practices and improve project delivery.
• Integrate Primavera with other enterprise systems like Oracle EBS, SAP, or Unifier as needed.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Expertise in Oracle Primavera P6 Professional and EPPM.
• Strong experience in project planning, scheduling, resource, and cost management.
• Knowledge of project control methodologies and critical path analysis.
• Experience with Primavera P6 APIs, Web Services, and integration tools.
• Proficient in generating reports and dashboards using BI Publisher, P6 Analytics, or equivalent tools.
• Solid understanding of project lifecycle management and PMO practices.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
• Familiarity with agile project management techniques.
• Experience in data analysis and visualization tools.

Experience

8 to 14 years of relevant experience in project planning, scheduling, and control using Oracle Primavera P6.
