Job Summary

The BaaN-Functional Consultant-Finance will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions by aligning Infor LN products with customer business requirements. This role involves conducting gap analysis, preparing functional specifications, executing test cases, and collaborating with both business stakeholders and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect solutions by mapping common customer business problems to the Infor LN product.
• Conduct gap analysis and create functional specifications while also performing data loading and set-up.
• Collaborate and lead meetings with the business community and technical consultants.
• Provide functional expertise in finance and accounting including:
  • Multi-company set-up, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Cash Management, Costing, Travel expenses, payroll, advising of entry, and miscellaneous journals.
  • Manage interfaces with other ERPs for issues, receipts, adjustment journals, purchase invoices, debit and credit memos.
  • Oversee running of trial balances and financial period closures.
  • Handle intercompany sales, EDI, and electronic invoicing.
• Utilize AFS for customizations and demonstrate proficiency with Unix Shell scripts and flat file transfers with Unix.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with end users and business leads.
• Demonstrate good technical knowledge of Infor and BaaN technical components.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Baan IV C4 and familiarity with Infor LN Cloud suite - Automotive (Infor CSA) or Infor LN 10.6 preferred.
• Functional experience in finance and accounting as listed above.
• Knowledge of integration using the Infor ION tool, BODs, BDEs (Extensions), and XML.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Information Technology).
• Technical certifications related to Infor or BaaN are advantageous.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with data integration tools, UNIX operating systems, and business process mapping.
• Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
