Job Summary

The CFIN O2C Functional Architect will lead the design, integration, and optimization of Order-to-Cash (O2C) solutions within the Central Finance (CFIN) landscape. This role is vital for ensuring that O2C processes align with business needs, integrating effectively with other enterprise applications while enhancing operational efficiency through automation.

Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Validation: Review and validate the design of all O2C solutions within the CFIN framework to ensure alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
• Ownership of O2C Architecture: Define, document, and manage the overall O2C architecture within the CFIN ecosystem, including its technical components and integration with other applications.
• Maintain Solution Roadmap: Keep the target O2C solution architecture up-to-date, documenting changes and their impacts on the broader enterprise architecture.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Engage with the CFIN solution team, IS architects, vendors, and business stakeholders (including Finance, Process, Data, and Systems Finance teams) to configure and enhance the CFIN landscape.
• Business Process Alignment: Work with O2C Global Process Owners (GPOs) and business teams to implement O2C solutions aligned with global best practices.
• Automation & Innovation: Drive implementation of automation solutions within the CFIN system to streamline O2C processes, reducing manual efforts and improving efficiency.
• Requirements Validation: Support the validation of business and functional requirements with Process Owners and Technical Leads.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance of all O2C solutions with ABB’s internal standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Maintain O2C domain expertise, keeping abreast of industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in O2C such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP CFIN, or IT architecture.
• Experience: At least 7-10 years as an O2C Architect, SAP Architect, or in a similar role.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in SAP CFIN, SAP S/4HANA, and related modules (e.g., Order Management, Billing, Accounts Receivable).
• Automation Knowledge: Familiarity with O2C process automation tools and strategies.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Credit Management & Integration, Down Payment concepts, and Project Cash flow Provisioning.
• Leadership: Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
• Collaboration Skills: Excellent ability to coordinate between stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, and external partners.
• Focus on Improvement: Passion for continuous improvement and innovation in enterprise systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in managing relationships with external vendors and third-party service providers.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Experience

• A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in O2C or similar roles within financial systems.

Environment

• The role will be based onsite in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, contributing to the Finance Services business under the Finance Process Data Systems division.
