Role Purpose / Summary
The VP – FP&A & Business Finance leads financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and
performance management, and acts as the primary business partner to commercial, marketing,
revenue and operations teams. The role translates data into insights and supports decisions on
growth, pricing, promotions, investments, and cost optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
●
Lead the annual operating plan (AOP) process and long-range planning in partnership with
business leaders.
●
Drive the monthly forecasting process for P&L, cash flows, and key KPIs across channels and
plants.
●
Manage consolidated management reporting, including performance packs for leadership
and Board.
●
Lead channel-wise Business Finance teams (D2C, Marketplaces, Stores, B2B) to produce
P&Ls, unit economics, and actionable insights.
●
Develop and maintain driver-based financial models for revenue, margins, marketing spend,
and overheads.
●
Own marketing ROI analysis, CAC/LTV, payback periods, and spend guardrails by channel.
●
Support pricing, discounting, and promotion decisions with robust financial analysis and
scenario modelling.
●
Partner with Plant Finance on S&OP , cost optimisation, and capacity/investment decisions.
●
Ensure alignment of financial targets with strategic priorities and monitor deviations with
clear bridges.
●
Mentor and develop FP&A and Business Finance talent; embed a strong business partnering
culture.
Qualifications & Experience
●
CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
●
Typically 12–18+ years of experience, with significant exposure to FP&A and business
partnering roles.
●
Experience in consumer, retail, start ups is highly desirable.
●
Strong background in financial modelling, analytics, and management reporting.Key Competencies & Skills
