Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer with strong expertise in Informatica Master Data Management (MDM), Informatica Extract, Transform, Load (ETL), SQL, and data testing methodologies. The role requires deep experience in functional and data validation testing across on-premise and cloud platforms, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable data solutions. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to drive the testing lifecycle end-to-end while collaborating with business, development, and Quality Assurance (QA) teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Informatica MDM, ETL, and data integration projects.
• Validate ETL mappings, transformations, and workflows in Informatica PowerCenter/Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
• Perform data migration, reconciliation, and regression testing for large and complex datasets.
• Conduct SQL-based validations for data accuracy, completeness, performance, and consistency.
• Ensure integration testing of Informatica solutions with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (SAP, Salesforce, Oracle) and other third-party systems.
• Develop test datasets and simulate production-like scenarios to ensure reliability.
• Identify defects, document issues, and track resolutions using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business analysts to ensure testing aligns with requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers in the team.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Informatica MDM Testing (Match-Merge, Survivorship, Hierarchy Manager, IDD).
• Expertise in ETL Testing with Informatica PowerCenter / IICS.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation across RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata) and cloud databases (Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift).
• Good understanding of Data Testing methodologies.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data warehouses and data lakes.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.
• Knowledge of automation testing tools for ETL processes.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing roles, with a focus on Informatica technologies and data validation.
