Job Summary
The Salesforce Administrator will manage the Salesforce platform, focusing on ensuring data integrity, conducting database maintenance, and providing user support. This role is crucial in supporting the needs of various business units through effective utilization of Salesforce tools, ensuring all organization objectives are met in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Manage Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups.
- Import/update leads, contacts, and other data using Data Loader.
- Perform database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for various business units.
- Automate processes using Salesforce tools such as Process Builder, Flow Automation, and Validation Rules.
- Manage and organize Salesforce Sales Cloud to ensure data entries are complete and accurate.
- Process assigned cases accurately and consistently.
- Manage data quality to ensure consistent data usage across multiple systems.
- Provide ongoing support and education for Salesforce users, answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and lead education sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant work experience.
- Salesforce Sales Cloud Administrator experience is required; certification is preferred. CPQ experience is a plus.
- 5+ years of Salesforce administrative experience in configuring and managing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Case Management, Community Portals, Data Loader, and Data Integrations.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com administrative skills including creating Users, Profiles, Roles, Custom Objects, Custom Fields, Page Layouts, Workflow Rules, Validation Rules, Reports, Dashboards, Process Builder, and Flows.
- Excellent project management skills with strong organizational skills and detail orientation.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization.
- Strong reporting and dashboard experience.
- Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from business partners and translate it into operational needs.
- Strong data management abilities.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Certification in Salesforce Sales Cloud.
- Experience with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tools.
