Perl Developer

Job Summary

The Perl Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Perl and related technologies. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the organization's projects and ensuring that application performance meets business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust Perl applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define requirements.
• Write efficient SQL queries and optimize database interactions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing Perl codebases.
• Implement ETL processes and work with AWS and API integrations.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Perl, UNIX, and SQL.
• Knowledge of ETL, AWS, API, and HL7 is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud services (preferably AWS).
• Familiarity with health informatics standards such as HL7.

Experience

• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in Perl development and related technologies.

Environment

• Work setting is hybrid, with 2 days per week in the office.
• Locations include Bangalore, Noida, and Hyderabad.
