Senior AEM Guides Developer

Job Summary

The Senior AEM Guides Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Guides to meet business requirements. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to analyze, design, and deliver content management solutions while customizing AEM Guides for enhanced functionality. The developer will also be tasked with debugging, resolving issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring the high availability of AEM Guides solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions using AEM Guides to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze, design, and deliver content management solutions.
  • Customize AEM Guides to enhance functionality, improve user experience, and support complex workflows.
  • Debug and resolve issues, optimize performance, and ensure the high availability of AEM Guides solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, content strategists, and QA engineers.
  • Stay updated on the latest features and advancements in Adobe Experience Manager and AEM Guides.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) with hands-on experience in AEM Guides (1-2 years).
  • Proficient in building components, templates, and workflows in AEM.
  • Knowledge of DITA (Darwin Information Typing Architecture) and structured content.
  • Hands-on experience with technologies like Java, JCR, OSGi, Apache Sling, and REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with XML, XSLT, and other structured content authoring standards.
  • Strong understanding of content management principles and scalable solution architecture.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering AEM-based solutions in an enterprise environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Adobe certifications in AEM or related tools.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Experience

  • A minimum of 6 years of total experience with 1-2 years of relevant AEM Guides experience is required.
