Job Summary
The People & Talent Manager will be responsible for driving talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and organizational culture across Education Japan. This role combines recruitment, people operations, employee engagement, organizational development, and strategic workforce planning. The ideal candidate should have experience in fast-growing organizations and a passion for building high-performing teams.
Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Recruitment: Lead end-to-end recruitment for all functions including Admissions & Counseling, Marketing & Content, Events & Sponsorship, Operations & Strategy, Internships, and Campus Hiring. Develop talent pipelines through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, recruitment agencies, and campus outreach. Coordinate interviews and candidate assessments. Manage offer negotiations and onboarding. Reduce time-to-hire and improve hiring quality.
- Employee Onboarding & Development: Design and manage onboarding programs for new employees. Ensure smooth integration into the organization. Coordinate role-specific training and development initiatives. Support managers in employee coaching and development.
- Performance Management: Develop and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Key Result Areas (KRA) frameworks. Coordinate probation reviews and performance evaluations. Support managers in goal setting and employee development. Implement systems for continuous feedback and performance improvement.
- Employee Engagement & Culture: Build a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work culture. Develop employee engagement initiatives. Organize team-building activities and recognition programs. Conduct employee satisfaction and feedback initiatives. Support employee retention strategies.
- HR Operations & Compliance: Manage employee records and HR documentation. Draft and maintain offer letters, employment contracts, policy documents, amendments, and employee communications. Oversee attendance, leave management, and HR administration. Coordinate payroll inputs with finance and external partners. Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies.
- Organizational Development: Support workforce planning and organizational design. Assist leadership in defining reporting structures and career paths. Identify capability gaps and recommend hiring or development initiatives. Support succession planning and leadership development.
- Employer Branding: Strengthen Education Japan's employer brand. Develop recruitment marketing campaigns. Manage hiring-related content and social media initiatives. Build relationships with universities and educational institutions for talent sourcing.
Qualifications
- Education: MBA (Human Resources), PGDM (HR), Organizational Psychology, Human Resource Management, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 4–8 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnering, People Operations, or Human Resources.

4–8 years in relevant fields as mentioned above, with a preference for experience within the education or technology sectors.
Environment
This is an on-site position based in Noida. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic and fast-paced work environment that requires adaptability and effective communication.
Salary
Expected CTC Range: ₹8–12 LPA. Higher compensation may be considered for candidates with exceptional experience in scaling teams within fast-growing education or startup environments.
