Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced software engineer with a strong background in backend development and modern web applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable applications with a focus on microservices architecture and cloud technologies, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and maintainable applications using Python and/or Java.
• Design and implement modern, responsive web applications using Angular.
• Architect, develop, and deploy applications based on microservices architecture.
• Implement and manage DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation.
• Investigate, analyze, and efficiently resolve complex technical issues.
• Adapt and apply new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
• Leverage cloud environments (GCP, Azure, AWS) for application deployments.
• Utilize containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker for orchestration and deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline.
• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, preferably in a senior role.
• Strong experience with Python 3, Angular, and cloud technology (GCP/Azure/AWS).
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong computer literacy and readiness for multidisciplinary training.

Preferred Skills

• Strong in Software Engineering principles.
• Interest in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Systematic problem-solving approach with effective communication skills.
• Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.
• Familiarity with data integration platforms like Dataiku or industrial data platforms like Cognite is a plus.
