Job Summary

The Telugu Social Media Creator will serve as the face of Silo Fortune in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This role involves creating engaging content tailored for dairy farmers, leveraging social media platforms such as Instagram and YouTube, and fostering genuine relationships with the farming community.

Responsibilities

• Write simple, farmer-friendly scripts in conversational Telugu that are easily understood by farmers with a basic education.
• Shoot and self-edit short-form videos for Instagram, maintaining a steady weekly posting schedule.
• Script and film content for YouTube, collaborating directly with the HQ editor for final touches.
• Manage and grow the regional Gau Sampurna social media accounts, focusing on captions, hashtags, posting rhythm, and performance tracking.
• Build relationships with local rural influencers who resonate with farming and dairy audiences.
• Stay updated on platform algorithm changes, emerging trends, and successful strategies in vernacular agricultural content.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of content creation experience (preferably in agriculture, travel, or food-related themes) and social media management.
• Proven experience of at least 1 year managing your own Instagram or YouTube channel.
• Fluency in Telugu; ability to communicate naturally with dairy farmers in their dialect is mandatory.
• Ownership of necessary equipment:
  • High-quality smartphone capable of shooting in 2K resolution.
  • Lapel microphone for clear audio in the field.
  • Gimbal stabilizer for steady video footage.
  • Laptop for editing and other work tasks.
• Minimum of 5,000 followers/subscribers on Instagram or YouTube.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with agricultural content and an interest in rural communities is a plus.
• Knowledge of social media trends and effective content strategies is advantageous.

Experience

• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in content creation and social media management.

Environment

• This is a hybrid, work-from-home role based anywhere in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, requiring regular local travel to dairy farms and cattle sheds. The role also necessitates mandatory travel to the Bengaluru HQ for one week every quarter.

Salary

• Up to ₹7 LPA (fixed + variable), along with travel reimbursements based on actual expenses.
