Job Summary

The Python Developer position focuses on application development and coding, with responsibilities that include troubleshooting support and fixing the existing Deductions Link Web Scraping and ETL code base. The role also entails developing additional features and functionalities to enhance or onboard new customers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and support existing Deductions Link Web Scraping and ETL code base.
• Develop additional features and functionalities to enhance the application for new customers.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to manage data effectively.
• Create and maintain APIs using web frameworks such as FastAPI and Django.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Analyze logs to diagnose and resolve application problems.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in Python API/Restful services development using FastAPI or Django.
  • 5+ years of experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
  • Experience in web scraping using Selenium and BeautifulSoup.
  • Proficient in writing unit and functional tests using PyTest.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong familiarity with SQL and experience in optimizing SQL queries.
  • Proficiency in Python programming and supporting Python-based applications.
  • Knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools.
  • Foundational knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and cloud computing concepts.
