Job Summary

The Design role at Bannerghatta is focused on the redevelopment of projects, ensuring compliance with by-laws and regulations while translating design ideas into actionable briefs. This position plays a crucial role in collaborating with various teams and consultants to deliver high-quality designs that meet customer expectations and project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate sound knowledge of Redevelopment By-laws and DCR Regulations.
• Analyze and calculate the area identified for future projects, drafting the end product design for customer presentation.
• Translate design ideas into design briefs for design consultants and architects.
• Appoint consultants based on the analysis of proposals and brief them on project requirements, expectations, and timelines.
• Collaborate effectively with various teams, including liaison, projects, and sales.
• Ensure consistency of product specifications in GFA, GFC, and sales brochures to maintain alignment between concept, product, and sales pitch.
• Acquire approvals for design and resources, such as materials for project construction.
• Track project progress and implement corrective actions regarding design as necessary.
• Address and mitigate any queries raised during the construction process.
• Comply with company-defined guidelines and processes while adhering to project timelines.
• Identify and recommend improvements in processes and procedures within the work area to enhance efficiency, costs, and productivity.
• Undertake process improvement activities and identify self and team development needs, pursuing development through training and projects.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Redevelopment By-laws and DCR Regulations.
• Proficiency in design analysis and drafting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage project timelines and expectations effectively.
• Experience in liaising with consultants and various teams.
• Educational qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
