Job Summary
As a Founding Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in driving the company's growth in the US market. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, engage, and convert potential clients into satisfied customers. This position offers the unique opportunity to shape the business development strategy of our startup and contribute to its success from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective clients through various channels to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Identify and qualify leads by understanding their needs and how our solutions can address them.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and technical teams to tailor solutions for clients.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Track and report on sales activities and results to the management team.
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies and tactics that align with company goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the B2B SaaS industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the code security or cybersecurity industry.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Experience
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in B2B sales within the SaaS industry is required, with a preference for experience in code security or cybersecurity.
Environment
This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, with the potential for occasional travel to the US. The work environment is dynamic, with a focus on innovation and collaboration.
