Job Summary
The Payment Operations Associate - Analysis and Automation will play a crucial role in managing daily payment operations, reconciliation, reporting, and process improvements. This position requires a self-driven individual with a strong sense of ownership to contribute to the company's growth and meet its operational objectives.
Responsibilities

Daily Payment Operations:
- Execute Operations Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for payment processing, invoicing, tracking, documentation, and forex conversion operations with various bank partners.
- Manage and resolve operations tickets within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with a focus on customer centricity.
- Coordinate with customer-facing and compliance teams to handle customer escalations and resolve dependencies.

Reconciliation and Reporting:
- Create real-time tracking dashboards using SQL and develop automated reconciliation processes for foreign and Indian banking partners.
- Generate and publish daily reports while maintaining oversight on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all banking partners and customer cohorts.
- Present periodic performance insights and foster accountability through data-driven reporting.

Analysis, Strategy, and Process Improvement:
- Analyze transaction data to identify trends, recurring issues, and operational risks.
- Recommend and implement process improvements and automation strategies to minimize errors and reduce turnaround time.
- Collaborate closely with Operations leadership to shape strategic priorities and promote a culture of operational excellence.

Collaboration:
- Coordinate with banking partners, tech, compliance, and product teams to address operational issues in payments.
- Serve as the point of contact (POC) for operational tasks for customer-facing teams.
- Work with tech and product teams to enhance and automate existing operational processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a Tier 1 institute.
- 1-4 years of relevant work experience in operations within a professional setting.
- Strong ethical values and self-motivated, with a growth-oriented mindset.
- Highly disciplined, punctual, and responsible in handling high-value payment flows.
- Proficient analytical skills, capable of understanding and owning metrics to enhance operational performance; experience in SQL is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with effective communication abilities in English and Hindi.
- Diligent, with a process-oriented approach and understanding of process linkage to KPIs.
- Experience in handling communications with vendors, partners, and customers.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with operations in the fintech sector.
- Experience in process automation tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of cross-border payment regulations.
Experience
- 1-4 years of relevant experience in operations, preferably in the fintech or banking sector.
Environment
