Platform Engineering Engineer 3

Job Summary

The Platform Engineering Engineer 3 will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the platform infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. This position is integral to the organization’s goals of delivering robust and scalable solutions while collaborating closely with product owners, scrum masters, and management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage applications in an Azure environment (AZ client) utilizing Openshift or Kubernetes.
• Implement and manage Docker containers for application deployment and orchestration.
• Utilize Java, Ansible, Git, and Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Handle incident management to ensure timely resolution of platform issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using SAFE or other Agile methodologies to enhance project delivery.
• Assist in the integration of additional technologies such as Python and Kafka as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java, Ansible, Git, and Jenkins.
• Experience with Azure, Openshift, or Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of incident management processes.
• Knowledge of Python and Kafka is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly SAFE.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with cloud-native application development.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in platform engineering or a similar role.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹2,800,000 per annum.
