Job Description

FINANCE & ACCOUNTS:   <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">To drive the company’s financial planning</li> <li style="text-align:justify">To perform risk management by analysing the organization’s liabilities and investments</li> <li style="text-align:justify">To decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks</li> <li style="text-align:justify">To control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure</li> <li style="text-align:justify">To ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations</li> <li style="text-align:justify">To supervise all finance personnel (controllers, treasurers etc.)</li> <li style="text-align:justify">To manage vendor relationships</li> <li style="text-align:justify">To prepare reliable current and forecasting reports</li> <li style="text-align:justify">To set up and oversee the company’s finance IT system</li> <li style="text-align:justify">To ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies</li> <li style="text-align:justify; margin-bottom:11px">To manage team of financial controllers and financial analysts</li> </ul> <div style="text-align:justify; margin-bottom:11px"> ACQUISITIONS:   <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">To lead the team from a due diligence perspective for any new acquisition / M&A</li> <li style="text-align:justify">To ensure that seller representations and warranties are backed by facts and data and are </li> </ul>       thoroughly analysed before proposing it to the management <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">To ensure post-transaction monitoring and reconciliation for performance and representations</li> </ul>   FUND-RAISING:   <ul> <li style="text-align:justify; margin-bottom:11px">To be involved in drafting, examining and ensuring a paper trail for all agreements and legal documents to be in a state of readiness to accept funds from either an institutional or retail investor</li> </ul> <div style="text-align:justify; margin-bottom:11px"> SKILLS   <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Leadership Skills – Chief Financial Officer should be able to manage an Organization by successfully coordinating staff, resources, and implementing policies effectively, so strong leadership skills are vital to this position</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Time Management – Chief Financial Officer works on various tasks at once and needs to be self-motivated, as often they are completing these tasks under their own direction. Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks is vital to ensure goals are met</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Problem-Solving Skills – As issues arise within an Organization, Chief Financial Officer should be able to identify them and resolve them quickly and efficiently for the sake of the business</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Decision-Making Abilities – A key part of being a successful Chief Financial Officer is the ability to make decisions that benefit the organization and work towards goals, strategies, and policies.
