Job Summary

The SAP MM Retail role focuses on managing and optimizing the Materials Management (MM) modules within a retail environment across PAN India. This role is pivotal in streamlining procurement, inventory management, vendor relations, and ensuring effective supply chain integration through SAP. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvements and support robust retail operations, aligning with the organization's strategic business goals.

Responsibilities

• SAP MM Implementation & Support: Configure, maintain, and support SAP MM modules tailored for retail processes.
• Process Optimization: Analyze and enhance procurement, inventory, and vendor management workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders across PAN India to understand requirements and provide strategic insights.
• System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with other enterprise systems and retail platforms.
• Project Management: Lead end-to-end project deliverables, including planning, execution, testing, and post-implementation support.
• Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement best practices to drive system and process enhancements in the retail supply chain.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: 6 to 12 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM implementation and support, particularly within a retail context.
• SAP Expertise: Strong understanding of SAP MM configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in business process analysis, data migration, system testing, and troubleshooting.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external vendors.
• Project Management: Experience in managing projects, meeting deadlines, and delivering quality SAP solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Additional SAP Modules: Exposure to SAP Retail, SAP S/4 HANA, or related ERP modules.
• Certification: SAP MM certification or equivalent credentials.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to analyze complex business scenarios.
• Change Management: Experience in managing change and training end-users on new processes and system updates.

Experience

• Years Required: 6 to 12 years of relevant SAP MM and retail industry experience.
• Industry Exposure: Prior experience in the retail sector and working on large-scale, pan-India projects is highly desirable.
