Job Summary

The SAP Basis Consultant plays a critical role in managing and overseeing all aspects of the SAP system landscape. This position is responsible for system administration, performance tuning, system upgrades, and ensuring the overall availability and reliability of SAP systems. The SAP Basis Consultant will work closely with various stakeholders to support ongoing business processes and initiatives, contributing to the organization's success.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the SAP landscape, ensuring system availability and optimal performance.
• Implement and monitor system upgrades, patches, and enhancements in alignment with business needs.
• Optimize SAP system environment for enhanced performance and stability.
• Conduct system monitoring and troubleshooting to resolve any issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SAP projects and initiatives.
• Provide technical support and guidance for SAP users and other IT staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and relevant database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
• Experience with SAP configuration and troubleshooting tools (e.g., STMS, SAP Solution Manager).
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux and Windows in an SAP context.
• Proficient in performance tuning and database management for SAP systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Certification in SAP Basis or related SAP solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud solutions and integration with SAP environments.
• Experience with SAP transport management and system migrations.

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an SAP Basis Consultant or in a similar role.
