Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in Java and Docker to join our team on a contractual basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining Java applications within containerized environments, ensuring reliable and scalable solutions that meet organizational needs. Immediate start is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications in Dockerized environments.
• Create and manage Docker images, containers, and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to containerization and application deployment.
• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines for smooth build and deployment processes.
• Ensure security and best practices in container and application management.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Hub.
• Experience with container orchestration tools, particularly Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and deployment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools for containerized environments (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Exposure to Agile or DevOps methodologies.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Java development and containerization using Docker.
• Prior experience in deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes is highly desirable.

Environment

• Work location: Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, or Bangalore.
• Work setting: Depending on project requirements; may include remote, in-office, or hybrid arrangements.
• Contractual position with immediate start.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹1,200,000 – ₹1,800,000 per annum.
