Job Summary

The Software Engineer, Frontend is responsible for developing new features for Firi's mobile and web applications, ensuring high performance and accessibility. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to prototype, launch, and refine various features that enhance user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features for Firi's mobile app (React Native/Expo) and web app (Next.js) while ensuring top-tier performance and accessibility.
• Collaborate with Design, Product, and other stakeholders to quickly prototype, launch, and refine product features.
• Enhance rendering, streaming, and interaction speeds across platforms.
• Build core growth infrastructure such as notifications, attribution, and analytics, and run experiments to improve user journeys.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in a full-stack or frontend engineering role at a product company.
• Proficient in React Native (Expo), Next.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiar with Azure and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Skilled in PostgreSQL, Redis, and API design.
• Experience with backend technologies including Node.js and Python/FastAPI.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience with cross-platform mobile development.
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques in web applications.
• Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles.
