Job Summary
The Data Migration Business Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing business requirements related to the fulfillment process, suggesting improved business and system processes. This position focuses on validating and migrating data from legacy systems to the DX Salesforce system, supporting Sales and Service Cloud applications, and ensuring effective solutions throughout the Salesforce Order Management and Fulfillment capability.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements around the fulfillment process and suggest enhancements to business and system processes.
- Validate and migrate data from legacy systems to the DX Salesforce system, ensuring accurate integration with Salesforce CPQ and Billing.
- Design, prototype, build, document, and support solutions for the Salesforce Order Management and Fulfillment capabilities to meet business needs, including configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Translate business requirements into detailed specifications and oversee the build activities, focusing on delivering integrated solutions based on Salesforce best practices.
- Create and maintain detailed functional documentation for requirement specifications.
- Provide system administration support for customized Salesforce applications, including managing user permissions, security settings, custom objects, and workflows.
- Develop an understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud functionality to enhance the system's effectiveness.
- Engage with the quote-to-order processes, including knowledge of product setup, product options, pricing, discounting, and quote templates.
- Utilize understanding of WebServices, Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules, and Advanced Approvals.
- Ensure seamless integrations with Salesforce.com using REST/SOAP APIs as needed.
- Maintain a strong customer focus, demonstrating high tolerance for ambiguity and adaptability to requirement changes.
- Employ strong problem-solving skills to propose creative and logical solutions.
- Exhibit flexibility and proactivity to adjust to changing project requirements and global goals.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of total professional experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in domain knowledge.
- At least 4 years of experience working on the Salesforce platform.
- Proven experience with fulfillment process implementations, middleware, and third-party integrations.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Familiarity with system integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud functionality and its applications.
- Experience with Salesforce customization, configuration, and integration best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of Salesforce data migration processes and methodologies.
- Familiarity with tools and platforms related to data migration and business analysis.
Experience
- 8+ years of relevant experience in business analysis and data migration.
- Comprehensive exposure to Salesforce platform implementations.
