Applied Scientist - Machine Learning

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and accomplished Applied Scientists in the field of Machine Learning (ML) to join our team. This role primarily focuses on developing advanced ML algorithms and driving the scaling and productization of ML solutions, in collaboration with various cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced Machine Learning algorithms in time-series domains.
• Collaborate with other applied scientists on algorithm development.
• Work with engineering teams to ensure effective productization of ML solutions.
• Partner with Product Managers to identify use cases and perform benchmarking.
• Lead projects independently in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
• Contribute to patents and technical publications to advance industrial AI.
• Develop Large Language Model (LLM) based pipelines.

Qualifications

• Educational Requirements:
  • BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Computer Science (CS), Electrical Engineering (EE), or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 1-3 years of ML research experience, depending on degree level.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, C++, or Java.
  • Expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture.
  • Experience with large-scale ML systems.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • A passion for industrial AI innovation.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages or tools relevant to ML development.

Experience

1-3 years of experience in machine learning research, which may vary depending on the level of education.
