Company Overview
The Team Lead will be part of the Motion for BA Function Human Resources division, based in Bangalore, India, and will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager - MO India.
Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Talent Acquisition Lead is to lead Talent Acquisition processes for assigned business areas/divisions, manage the end-to-end recruitment of all white-collar positions within these areas, and oversee a team of 6 to 8 Talent Partners/Sourcers. This role requires partnering with business and HR leaders to provide expertise, solutions, and Talent Acquisition support across the specified geographies.
Responsibilities
- Deliver talent acquisition processes to implement global talent strategies in assigned business areas/divisions.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and line managers to understand short, mid, and long-term business needs and current talent challenges.
- Manage the local Talent Acquisition team and external partner relations to ensure effective sizing and staffing of teams to support business TA requirements.
- Track progress of global TA objectives (KPIs, SLAs, etc.) and support talent partners in achieving these objectives.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and systems in accordance with country legislation, HR policies, and compliance standards.
- Support or drive TA initiatives/campaigns, employer branding activities, university relations, and early talent programs to enhance ABB’s Employer Brand.
- Share local insights with business and HR leaders regarding skills availability in the local talent market and recommend improvements to TA practices and policies.
- Contribute to the design and development of new TA solutions and assist in their implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any specialization from a reputed university.
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in talent acquisition processes and tools, with full lifecycle recruiting and people management experience from similar industries.
- Awareness of end-to-end TA processes, continuous improvement approaches, and experience in managing change projects.
- Skilled in leading a diverse team in a global environment and capable of generating innovative ideas and providing constructive feedback.
- Proven track record in delivering results by networking and influencing senior business and HR leaders in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.
