Job Title: FP&A Manager
Department: Finance Location: Mumbai, Andheri (East) Experience Required: Minimum 4+ years post-qualification Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning & Analysis
•
Lead and manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process, incorporating inputs from all key business units.
•
Analyze historical financial data to create predictive models and support long-term strategic planning.
•
Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives and provide actionable insights.
2. Cost Management
•
Perform detailed cost analysis to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
•
Identify cost-saving opportunities and support implementation of strategic cost initiatives.
•
Evaluate the viability and risk of new domestic and international projects, supporting leadership in end-to-end planning and execution.
3. Financial Reporting & Performance Monitoring
•
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports including P&L, variance analysis, and business performance dashboards.
•
Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying deviations and suggesting corrective actions.
•
Present financial findings and strategic recommendations to leadership.
4. Strategic Business Support
•
Play a key role in overseeing commercial finance and costing deliverables.
•
Support business units with financial insights to drive informed decision-making.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
•
Work closely with business heads and cross-functional teams to align financial goals with strategic priorities.
•
Foster a culture of financial accountability and continuous improvement across departments.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
•
Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)
•
Experience: Minimum 4+ years post-qualification experience in FP&A, costing, or business finance roles
•
Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
•
Strong understanding of costing methodologies and financial principles
•
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
•
Effective communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
•
Proficient in financial reporting tools and Microsoft Excel; SAP experience is a plus
•
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
