AWS (Software Development Engineer)
Job Summary
The Software Development Engineer - II will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining highly maintainable and unit-tested software components and systems that solve real-world problems. This position requires strong expertise in microservices-based architecture and cloud infrastructures such as AWS and GCP. The role involves taking end-to-end ownership of product features from design through to deployment, ensuring quality across all stages, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable RESTful/SOAP microservices.
- Take ownership of product/feature design, coding, and deployment.
- Ensure high-quality standards in problem-solving, design, code, and bug fixes.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders for smooth sprint execution.
- Troubleshoot and fix production issues on priority, ensuring user satisfaction.
- Mentor team members to enhance overall team productivity.
Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed institution.
- 3-5 years of experience in building scalable microservices.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and their complexities.
- Proficiency in Java and Spring framework.
- Excellent coding skills with the ability to translate design into code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of design patterns.
- Technical aptitude in computer science fundamentals.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud infrastructures, especially AWS and GCP.
- Good understanding of high-level design and implementation.
- Ability to adopt new technologies for building large-scale, reliable systems.
Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proven experience in microservices architecture and cloud platforms.
Environment
- Location: Bangalore (Marathahalli), Onsite - Work From Office (WFO).
- Full-time position with immediate start availability.
