Job Summary

The Vice President of Performance Marketing will be responsible for developing and implementing a predictable and scalable customer acquisition strategy. This role involves spearheading marketing strategies, planning, executing campaigns, and supporting a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a strong performance marketing strategy and execution plan.
  • Own the strategy for all media channels: paid search, paid social, and organic campaigns (AdWords, Facebook, LinkedIn, SEO) from conception to execution.
  • Develop comprehensive reports and provide detailed analysis around ROI, campaign performance, conversion patterns, and website traffic to optimize all campaigns.
  • Manage budgets and campaigns across all digital channels to drive strong return on investment (ROI) and efficient customer acquisition cost (CAC).
  • Ensure successful planning, execution, and optimization for key traffic KPIs via paid, organic, and owned media channels.
  • Identify and test new channels to meet or exceed established critical metrics.
  • Collaborate with management to share funnel conversion improvement ideas, feedback, and present results.
  • Analyze performance and refine campaigns through a continual test-and-learn approach.
  • Drive optimization plans through analysis of large data sets.
  • Advise on and allocate digital marketing budgets, recommending necessary changes for optimization.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with digital media agencies.
  • Lead, inspire, and grow the marketing team while sharing expertise to foster brand growth.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 6-8 years in performance marketing, specifically managing direct-to-consumer (D2C) performance activities on high-budget brands (100 Cr+).
    • 2-3 years of experience in a marketing agency and 4-5 years in a consumer-focused brand.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • High ethical standards and a calm demeanor.
    • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and external agencies.
    • Digital media planning and evaluation expertise.
    • Strong creative sensibilities.
    • High level of ownership and passion for the role.
    • Experience managing multiple projects under tight timelines.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in emerging digital marketing tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics and data-driven marketing approaches.

Experience

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience in performance marketing, with a focus on managing high-budget D2C brands.
