Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of product functionality and exhaustive knowledge of user stories and scenarios
• Develop exhaustive test cases as part of a test plan for new features built by development team
• Execute test cases as per test plan and identify bugs
• Troubleshoot issues and bugs discovered in testing to help determine root cause.
• Set up, maintain, and support testing environments for automated and manual testing for both the QA and software development environments.
• Reproduce issues discovered in production using the test environments in order to help identify issues, determine root cause and formulate solutions.
• Communicate bugs with feature owners or developers and follow up with development team on status of open bugs
• Be proactive in holding development team accountable for prioritizing and closing bugs on time
• Ability to self-manage, show leadership, good analytical skills and communicate well.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Engineering Degree in Computer Science or related field with minimum 3+ years of experience in developing Software.
• Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in automation testing and development using selenium/cypress in either Python/Java.
• Should understand all different kinds of testing methodologies such as Smoke, Regression, Integration testing etc.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively test applications independently.

Nice to have

• You should have hands-on experience with developing automation in a distributed systems environment.
• You should have hands-on experience with Load/Performance testing.
• You should have hands-on experience with B2B Products.
