Job Summary

The Workfront Support Specialist will provide essential support for user management, issue resolution, system maintenance, and governance within the Workfront platform. This role ensures that users have appropriate access levels and helps in facilitating effective communication and training regarding system changes, thereby enhancing overall organizational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • User Management:

    • Assist with setting up new users and processing deactivations.
    • Manage basic user permissions and access levels.
    • Re-assign users based on organizational changes.
    • Monitor license usage and report on discrepancies.
  • Issue Resolution:

    • Provide technical support for workmate issues through the #wf-help Slack channel.
  • System Maintenance & Governance:

    • Conduct user audits and manage access levels, groups, teams, schedules, portfolios, programs, templates, projects, custom forms, custom fields, and approvals.
    • Create and manage custom forms and fields.
    • Oversee system migrations or upgrades.
    • Maintain governance documentation.
  • Communication & Training:

    • Effectively communicate system changes to workmates.
  • Office Hours & Support:

    • Lead office hours and assist workmates with inquiries and support.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of user management and basic permission settings.
  • Proficient in creating and managing custom fields and forms.
  • Familiarity with governance documentation and organizational best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate system changes and provide training.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to provide technical support.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies is preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Workfront or similar project management platforms.
  • Background in IT support or system administration.
  • Ability to conduct user training sessions effectively.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a relevant support or administrative role, preferably with project management systems.
