Operations - CIC Reporting

Job Summary

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the company's customer credit information to Credit Information Companies (CICs). This includes reviewing, validating, and rectifying data in compliance with guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and CICs. The role supports regulatory adherence and data quality to maintain the integrity of credit reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit credit information data to CICs on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
• Ensure compliance with prescribed CIC reporting formats and guidelines issued by RBI and CICs.
• Review, validate, and rectify data before submission to CICs.
• Monitor data rejections and error reports from CICs and ensure timely resubmission of corrected data.
• Coordinate with seller banks, financial institutions, collection agents, and operations teams for data collation.
• Regularly monitor data quality submitted to CICs and implement improvements.
• Assist in root cause analysis of incorrect or delayed data reporting to CICs.
• Resolve disputes raised by customers regarding incorrect credit information reporting.
• Coordinate with CICs to ensure timely submission and rectification of data.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures, guidelines, and process manuals related to CIC data reporting.
• Assist in timely submission of data to auditors and resolve audit observations.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in database handling and Management Information System (MIS) management.
• Good analytical skills to thoroughly understand issues.
• Ability to handle large datasets.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced MS Excel and MS Access.
• Knowledge of database software such as SQL is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage high-pressure situations with patience and empathy.
• Strong coordination skills across multiple departments.
