Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned professional skilled in ethical hacking, penetration testing, and application security to join our security team. This fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level role requires a creative problem solver who can resolve a wide range of issues and safeguard applications through secure coding, source code reviews, and vulnerability assessments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Application Penetration Testing and thorough source code reviews to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Utilize tools such as Burp Suite and OWASP ZAP to perform security assessments.
- Apply methodologies from OWASP guidelines and best practices to enhance application security.
- Participate in cyber forensics, threat hunting, and related activities to investigate potential security breaches.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement secure coding practices and resolve security issues creatively.
- Continuously update security knowledge and skills to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in ethical hacking, penetration testing, software development, cyber forensics, or threat hunting.
- In-depth understanding of Application Security and Secure Coding principles.
- Proficiency in conducting Source Code Reviews and application security assessments.
- Experience with Application Penetration Testing, utilizing tools like Burp Suite and OWASP ZAP.
- Possession of one or more security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GPEN, GXPN, GWAPT, or OSCP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve a wide range of security issues in creative ways.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
