Node.js Developer

Job Summary

The Node.js Developer will be responsible for developing scalable server-side applications using Node.js. This role is critical for building the backend services that drive the functionality of web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement RESTful APIs and ensure robust performance and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain development best practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js.
  • Experience with databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with API development and integration.
  • Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular).

Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Node.js development or related technologies.

Environment
