Job Summary

The Accounts and Compliance Lead will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring timely closures, and handling all statutory and regulatory compliances. This role requires close coordination with internal teams, auditors, and external consultants to maintain accurate financial records and ensure full compliance with applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping activities and ensure timely month-end and year-end closures.
• Handle vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Ensure end-to-end Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance, including returns, filings, and reconciliations.
• Manage statutory compliances such as GST, Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and other applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors and external consultants for audits, assessments, and statutory filings.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support management with required financial data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in accounting and compliance roles.
• Prior experience in the Manufacturing or Consumer industry is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of GST and statutory compliances.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
