Senior Oracle EBS Technical Application Support/Development
Job Summary
The Senior Oracle EBS Technical Application Support/Development role requires a highly skilled candidate with extensive experience in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules. The primary responsibility is to provide advanced support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for Oracle EBS applications, ensuring seamless business operations. The ideal candidate should also have a solid understanding of Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) within Oracle EBS.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and functional support as a techno-functional expert for Oracle EBS modules, including Order Management, Planning, Procurement, Finance, and other relevant areas.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers for Oracle databases.
- Customize and troubleshoot Oracle Forms and Reports to meet business requirements, including expertise in Oracle SOA and APEX.
- Collaborate with business users and IT functional support teams to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Deliver Root Cause Analysis Reports and preventive actions on Critical P1 and P2 issues.
- Perform data analysis, migrations, and integrations between Oracle EBS and other enterprise applications.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in performance tuning, database optimization, and application security.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, DBAs, and business analysts, to support system enhancements and upgrades.
- Manage and resolve service requests (SRs) with Oracle Support as necessary.
- Document technical solutions, workflows, and user guides for reference and training purposes.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Oracle EBS technical application support and development.
- In-depth expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle E-Business Suite modules.
- Thorough exposure and functional knowledge of Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) in Oracle EBS (mandatory).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with database performance tuning and application security best practices.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Oracle SOA and APEX.
- Knowledge of additional Oracle EBS modules is a plus.
- Familiarity with data migration tools and methodologies.
Experience
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Oracle EBS technical support and development.
Environment
- Remote work setting with flexible hours; may require starting as early as 7 AM.
