Job Summary

The role focuses on product development with an emphasis on firmware and functional testing, ensuring high-quality standards throughout the product lifecycle, particularly within the energy management domain. Responsibilities

• Understand and implement the product development life cycle and related processes.
• Develop and execute design and test specifications while performing root cause analysis.
• Utilize debugging and troubleshooting skills for electronic boards, ensuring successful board bring-up processes.
• Perform product integration testing, particularly in hardware and firmware aspects.
• Conduct functional and firmware tests, maintaining a focus on manufacturability.
• Gained experience with wired and wireless communication protocols such as Modbus Serial, TCP/IP, BACnet, Zigbee, and Bluetooth.

Qualifications

• Educational: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics streams.
• 8-13 years of relevant experience in the field.
• Strong understanding of design/test specifications, traceability management, and defect management.
• In-depth knowledge of the energy management domain.
• Exposure to test automation tools and technologies, specifically using Python.
• Familiarity with IP features like SNMP, SNTP, and DHCP.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with various wired and wireless communication protocols.
• Interest in working with power system domains and technologies.

Experience

8-13 years of experience in product development and testing, emphasizing product integration in hardware and firmware.
