Job Summary

The Platform Engineering Engineer 3 will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining platform solutions that enhance operational efficiency. This position requires a strong background in Terraform and DevOps tools, contributing to the organization's goals by ensuring robust infrastructure and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Write Terratests for unit testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Utilize DevOps tools such as Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, and Ansible for continuous integration and deployment.
• Implement and manage cloud technologies, primarily in Azure and GCP.
• Handle production environments while adhering to best operational practices.
• Collaborate within a SAFe Agile framework to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Create detailed solution specifications to guide development and implementation.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Terraform and experience with Terragrunt.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Networking and familiarity with GCP.
  • Experience with DevOps tools: Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, and Ansible.
  • Basic understanding of network layers/components and cloud structures.
  • Knowledge of Python and GO is preferred.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for writing detailed specifications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Certifications: ITIL Process awareness is mandatory; certification is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with SAFe Agile methodology.
• Experience in writing unit tests and understanding of best practices in software development.

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in platform engineering or a similar role, with a focus on cloud technologies and DevOps practices.

• Work Setting: In-office position located in Bangalore.
• Work Type: Full-time.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹2,800,000.
