Job Summary

We are building vision-based AI engines that understand mobile apps like humans, replacing brittle locator frameworks with plain English instructions. We're a fast-growing team seeking a hands-on AI & Backend Engineer to build the core intelligence for these fast AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable Python backends (using FastAPI, Flask, or Django) to power AI-driven test execution, integrating Vision Large Language Models (LLMs) for screen understanding and locator-free interactions.
• Fine-tune and deploy LLMs and Vision Language Models (VLMs) for tasks like Optical Character Recognition (OCR), layout analysis, and dynamic user interface handling using PyTorch or TensorFlow, with prompt engineering for robust agent behavior.
• Build production pipelines that include data preprocessing, inference, feedback loops, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for test knowledge, and API endpoints for APK uploads and execution.
• Productionize models into real-time workflows on AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)—containerize applications with Docker or Kubernetes, optimizing for cost and speed while monitoring performance.
• Collaborate on agentic features that ensure reliable execution, precision debugging, and cross-device synchronization—transforming raw screens into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in AI/ML and backend development, with an emphasis on Python (FastAPI or LangChain is a plus).
• Proven experience in fine-tuning LLMs and VLMs for vision and natural language processing; familiarity with OpenAI or Claude toolkits is advantageous.
• Strong backend expertise, including developing REST APIs and working with SQL/NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB or DynamoDB) to create scalable systems.
• Experience in deploying AI models to production with a focus on MLOps practices, including the use of Docker, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to think critically and iterate quickly on assignments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional machine learning frameworks or libraries.
• Knowledge of mobile application development or testing frameworks.

Experience

4-6 years of relevant experience in AI/ML and backend development.
