Integration Engineer

Job Summary

The Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions to connect various systems, applications, and databases within the organization. This role ensures seamless data flow and interoperability between disparate platforms, contributing to improved business operations and efficiency. The Integration Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver robust integration solutions that align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions for connecting internal and external systems.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure uninterrupted data flow and system interoperability.
• Collaborate with software developers, IT teams, and business stakeholders to execute integration projects.
• Document integration processes, workflows, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all integration solutions adhere to security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems integration or related roles.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs, web services (REST, SOAP), and middleware platforms.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
• Knowledge of data mapping, transformation, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud integration platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with enterprise service bus (ESB) or similar middleware technologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Relevant certifications in integration technologies or cloud platforms.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in integration engineering or related technical roles.
• Hands-on experience with system integration, API management, and middleware solutions.

Environment

• Based in Mumbai.
• Full-time, on-site position.

• May require occasional after-hours support for critical integration deployments.
