Job Summary

The Data Migration Lead will play a crucial role in managing data migration processes for SAP projects, specifically focusing on SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. This position requires a combination of technical expertise in data migration concepts and strong leadership skills to guide the team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end data migration activities within SAP environments, ensuring adherence to established strategies and best practices.
• Develop and implement data migration strategies and plans in alignment with project requirements and timelines.
• Oversee the execution of data migration processes, including data cleansing, mapping, and validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business processes and integration requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to the team, fostering a collaborative environment focused on achieving project goals.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 6-8 years in a lead position managing data migration work within an SAP environment.
• Education: Relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong expertise in data migration concepts and processes.
  • In-depth understanding of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and newly introduced data services in S4.
• Soft Skills:
  • Proven leadership and team handling experience.
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Solid understanding of Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Financial (FIN) business processes.
• Expertise in innovation and change management.

Experience

• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in data migration activities, preferably in an SAP environment with a leadership role.

Environment

• Location: Pune preferred or Bangalore, operating under a hybrid model. The preferred location of work will be Pune, Kharadi.

Salary

• CTC Range: 1.2 – 1.5 million INR.
