Job Description

Job Title: Sr. Brand Manager Experience: 5 - 7 Years (Experience in D2C Beauty/Personal Care highly preferred)

The Mission You will act as the custodian of our brand identity, responsible for scaling our market share while maintaining healthy unit economics. You are the bridge between creative storytelling and hard-core P&L performance. You don't just launch campaigns; you own the ROI of every product launch, content piece, and community engagement initiative.

What You’ll Do -Brand Strategy & Positioning: Define and evolve our brand voice to ensure we stand out in the crowded Indian BPC (Beauty and Personal Care) market.

-P&L Ownership: Manage the marketing budget for specific product categories. You will be responsible for forecasting sales and optimizing spends to ensure we hit our contribution margin targets.

-Launch Orchestration: Lead the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new product drops. From naming and packaging copy to influencer selection and ad creative, you own the full funnel.

-Creative Direction: Work closely with the design and content teams to produce high-performing, "scroll-stopping" creative assets that align with our brand aesthetic.

-Data-Driven Marketing: Analyze customer feedback, sales data, and marketplace trends to iterate on messaging and inventory planning.

-Influencer & Community Ecosystem: Build long-term partnerships with creators who actually "get" the brand and can drive authentic conversion, not just vanity metrics.

Who You Are -The P&L Thinker: You know that a beautiful campaign is a failure if the CAC is higher than the customer’s first-order value. You live in spreadsheets as much as you do in creative brainstorming sessions.

-The Beauty Enthusiast: You understand the Indian beauty consumer. You follow trends (e.g., active-led skincare vs. clean beauty) and can spot a gap in the market from a mile away.

-The Creative Lead: You have a "hook-first" mentality. You know how to write copy that converts and can guide a designer to create visual assets that feel premium yet relatable.

-Self-Starter: In a 3-5 year old startup, there is no "that’s not my job." You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to manage everything from a last-minute influencer brief to a late-night campaign performance check.

Must-Haves -Experience: Marketing/Brand Management, ideally within the D2C or FMCG startup ecosystem.

-Soft Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple stakeholders (agencies, influencers, internal cross-functional teams) under tight deadlines.
