Job Summary

The AWS Data Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS). This position will contribute significantly to our data management strategy and support the organization's goals through effective data integration and processing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes in AWS to support data warehousing and analytics initiatives.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and develop scalable solutions.
• Manage and optimize AWS data services (e.g., Amazon S3, Redshift, Glue) to ensure high performance and availability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Document architecture, configurations, and processes to ensure reproducibility and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AWS services, particularly for data storage, processing, and analytics.
• Strong experience in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with data modeling techniques and schema design.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for data manipulation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience with big data tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, or Redshift Spectrum.
• Understanding of data governance and security best practices.

Experience

3-5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or related roles, specifically working with AWS technologies.

This position is based in Bangalore and follows a hybrid work model, requiring a combination of in-office and remote work.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is 17 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum).
