Associate Manager Finance Business Partner
Job Summary
The Associate Manager Finance Business Partner is a Finance Analyst responsible for Account Finance Support within the AMS CFO Organization in the DSS Team. This role involves providing financial support to the Client Partner, Account Delivery, and Finance Manager, acting as a finance business partner/advisor to help achieve planned financial outcomes. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders to understand revenue, costs, and annual operating plans (AOP), ensuring compliance with accounting policies, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and audit requirements.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all month-end close activities in line with the account and DXC reporting calendar.
- Provide financial reports that accurately reflect the financial performance of the account.
- Review Contracts/Master Service Agreements for financial and pricing clauses, including cost-of-living adjustments (COLA), price changes, and volume commitments.
- Identify and analyze risks, assessing their impact on the account and organization, and provide logical solutions for effective closure.
- Lead all planning cycles (Strategic Planning, Operating plans, forecasts) with a high level of accuracy and understanding of business dynamics.
- Ensure a complete understanding of costs at the account level, including labor and non-labor charges.
- Drive forecast accuracy through financial modeling and analysis, providing decision-making information related to risks and operations.
- Monitor unbilled, deferred, and revenue-at-risk activities, preparing risk reports and tracking items until closure.
- Support optimization of cash collection through timely billing at the account level.
- Collaborate with the Client Partner and Finance Manager to drive margin improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting policies, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with financial reporting and forecasting.
- Knowledge of SOX compliance and audit processes.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a finance business partner role within a corporate environment.
- Familiarity with financial software and tools.
- Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and reporting.
- Knowledge of industry-specific financial practices.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in a business partner capacity.

Salary
- Estimated salary range: ₹2,500,000 per annum.
