QA Automation

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team on a contractual basis. The primary objective of this role is to design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in Python programming to enhance our testing processes and contribute to the delivery of high-quality solutions within project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify software defects.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and implement effective test strategies.
• Document and report defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks for scalability and efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA automation.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, Robot Framework).
• Solid understanding of software development and QA processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments.

Experience

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in QA automation with a focus on Python-based testing solutions.
• Experience working in agile software development environments is a plus.
