Digital Dashboard Developer – Violence-Free Village Project
Job Summary
The Digital Dashboard Developer for the Violence-Free Village Project will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a digital dashboard that visually presents key metrics, progress, and impact data related to the project’s initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring stakeholders have real-time access to actionable information, thereby supporting informed decision-making and transparency. The position is remote and offers an immediate start.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop an interactive digital dashboard tailored to the project’s reporting needs.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional dashboard features.
- Integrate various data sources (such as surveys, databases, and spreadsheets) into the dashboard.
- Ensure data accuracy, security, and timely updates for all visualizations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to dashboard performance.
- Train project staff on the use of the dashboard and document key processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in dashboard development platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, or open-source alternatives).
- Strong knowledge of data visualization best practices.
- Experience with database management and data integration techniques.
- Basic programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or R.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
