Job Summary

The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless inventory management and fulfillment across various channels, including warehouse, direct-to-consumer (D2C), and marketplace. The position focuses on building standard operating procedures (SOPs) that maintain scalability and efficiency, fostering strong vendor and manufacturing relationships, and optimizing operational metrics such as turnaround time (TAT), return to origin (RTO), and inventory turns.

Responsibilities

• Own inventory and fulfillment processes across warehouse, D2C, and marketplace channels.
• Develop and implement SOPs to facilitate scalable growth without operational disruptions.
• Leverage vendor and manufacturing relationships to create a competitive advantage.
• Ensure timely and accurate movement of orders from production to delivery.
• Monitor and improve operational metrics, aiming to achieve high standards in TAT, RTO, and inventory turns.
• Serve as the trusted operator for the founders, maintaining ongoing operational excellence while they concentrate on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years in eCommerce, D2C operations, supply chain, or logistics.
• Inventory Systems: Hands-on experience with inventory management and warehouse systems.
• Operational Mindset: Strong ability to create structure and order from chaotic environments.
• Data Proficiency: Comfortable with data analysis and dashboards; proficiency extends beyond basic spreadsheets.
• Ownership: High level of accountability and readiness to engage directly with on-the-ground operations.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in managing operational teams.
• Familiarity with various eCommerce platforms and logistics software.
• Background in process improvement methodologies.
