Job Summary
The Senior Manager - Business Development will play a critical role in accelerating enterprise adoption and revenue growth in Pune and surrounding markets. This position is essential in establishing Source as the preferred procurement partner for enterprise and SME manufacturers.
Responsibilities
- Revenue Leadership: Drive aggressive B2B sales growth and consistently exceed sales targets.
- Market Expansion: Acquire high-value enterprise accounts and enhance regional market penetration.
- Relationship Depth: Develop strategic, long-term partnerships to improve customer retention and lifetime value.
- New Business Development: Identify, approach, and close new B2B accounts to fuel revenue growth.
- Sales Execution: Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closure, ensuring discipline in CRM usage and performance tracking.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record in B2B or enterprise sales with consistent success in meeting or exceeding targets.
- Networking Skills: Strong ability to engage and build relationships with decision-makers across various levels.
- Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation and closing skills with a solid commercial understanding.
- Analytical Skills: Target-driven, analytical mindset, and discipline in managing pipeline and performance metrics.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with digital sales tools and CRM platforms.
- Experience in the industrial materials sector or related fields.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within the industrial sectors.
Environment
- This role will be primarily based in Pune or Delhi, with potential travel to nearby markets as required. The work environment is dynamic, fostering collaboration and innovation.
