Job Summary

The Finance Transformation & Special Projects Lead will play a pivotal role in driving finance transformation initiatives, automating processes, and resolving legacy issues. This position partners across the organization to implement strategic initiatives that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the finance department.

Responsibilities

• Drive resolution of historical accounting, compliance, and reconciliation matters, bringing them to closure.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives through process redesign, automation, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) enhancements.
• Build scalable finance processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal controls that improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Own cross-functional special projects, including business expansion, regulatory initiatives, system implementations, and process improvements.
• Partner with business, technology, and operations teams to solve complex finance challenges and enhance decision-making.
• Build dashboards, project trackers, and management information systems (MIS) to provide visibility into finance operations and key initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Experience: 8–12 years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience in controllership, audits, financial reporting, and finance transformation.
• Strong project management skills, stakeholder management abilities, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly structured, detail-oriented, and execution-focused, with the ability to independently drive complex initiatives.
• Experience in leading automation, ERP implementation, or process improvement projects is an added advantage.
