About the Lead Devops Engineer role

As a Lead Devops Engineer, you will play a key role in development, maintenance and

deployment of software applications. You will collaborate with cross functional teams in

product engineering functions for smooth operation, availability, reliability and performance

of all our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the leadership team in defining team goals and OKRs to measure

operational excellence.

Lead a high performing team of Devops and SRE engineers.

●

Champion the incident response and management for the products and services that

Disprz supports. This involves triaging issues, improving MTTD and reducing MTTR.

Also lead the post-incident reviews and coordinate the action items with

stakeholders.

●

Staying up to date on latest and emerging technologies in Devops and SRE functions

and helping pilot them in the team.

●

Identify opportunities to partner to build self healing systems and auto scaling

systems.

●

Partner with the security and compliance team to implement best practices.

Qualifications:

●

6-9 years of experience as a Devops Engineer with experience in Site reliability

engineering.

●

Experience in leading a team of few devops engineers in achieving objectives and

delivering results.

●

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools, source version control tools.

●

Experience in cloud environments of Azure, AWS, GCP

●

Proficiency in using common Linux commands and tools for system administration.

●

Deep understanding and experience in setting up Kubernetes and Infrastructure as

Code(IaC)

●

Experience in setting up and managing monitoring, logging and telemetry tools such

as Azure application insights, Grafana etc.

●

Good understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.

●

Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, Postgres, or NoSQL databases.

Experience in database administration tasks such as backup, recovery, security,

performance tuning and profiling.

●

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

●

Any cloud certifications are a plus
